Joe Scarborough Art

Joe Scarborough Signed Art Print Saracens

£100.00

This was a commissioned painting following the Boxing Day match v Leicester in 1998, which at the time broke the Premiership crowd record. The match was played at Watford FC's Vicarage Road ground which Saracens used as it's "home" at that time.

“Probably England’s most famous and pre-eminent Rugby club. Almost as famous was their former ground, Vicarage Road, which witnessed the rise of Watford Football Club under the auspices of Elton John and Graham Taylor in the 1980s. When I visited the ground to prep this work, I couldn’t get a decent pint of bitter anywhere.”
